George Tomlinson b.c. 1825 - Drax - Parents if possible, please!
« on: Monday 06 February 17 21:16 GMT (UK) »
Hi all,

I'm trying to get further back with George Tomlinson.  He was born c.1825 in Drax (Selby) and went on to marry Elizabeth Marshall in 1846.  I am so far certificateless, but thought I'd ask here before I purchase anything.  Does anyone have access to a baptism record for George?

Many thanks,

Regards, Emma ;)

There is an 1841 entry Drax which could be him but birthyear is 1827 and he is not with parents.  Seems to be a male servant on a farm.

The baptism of the George Tomlinson above can be found on FS but without confirmation from his marriage cert as to his fathers name - it's anybody's guess whether it's the same person
