William David/Davies death date

Hi Guys,
           My 2ND great grandfather is  William David, born 1855 in Llantrisant (christened 14Th Jan 1855, occupation shoemaker )
and married to Sarah Elizabeth David nee Crockett(5, Nov 1874 in Pontypridd), born 1858 in Pontypridd. I'm trying to find the date of his death. Any help on this subject would be very much appreciated. Regards David

Hi David, as you know well I am aware of the David family from your earlier thread on his parents/siblings, what was the last census you have him on with any certainty?

HI again if the 1891 is the correct family, then at same address Sarah is a Widow last child b 1896 Pontypridd so death 1895/1901?

Hi , thank you for your reply.
       I have William and Sarah in the 1891 census, living in 23, Union St, Graig, Pontypridd. I also have William on the 1901 census living with his parents in George St, Llantrisant  RG 13/piece  5007 /FOLIO 37/page 23 and Sarah is still in Union street but at no 25 (boarding house) and it does say widow on the image. Now that's confusing. Could it be a transcript error maybe? I also have a William Davies in the 1911 census RG 14, PIECE 32317, SCHEDULE NUMBER 239. He's living in Tramroad Side (The Broadway today) as a lodger, a bootmaker and born in Llantrisant and married. I also have Sarah Elizabeth Davies in the 1911 census RG14 PIECE 32317  SCHEDULE NUMBER 50 living in 23 station Terrace Pontypridd, (just down from Union St)also married. Incidentally Sarah was living in Tramroad Side with her parents in 1871 census RG10 Piece 5382 Folio 49 Page 16.
