St Vincents Boarding School, Military Road, Limerick
« on: Tuesday 07 February 17 15:35 GMT (UK) »
My great grandmother grew up / boarded / orphaned here and was on the 1911 census for it.  Has anyone by any chance got any details for it - history, photos etc.  As cant seem to find much out there of it.

I think it was also known as Mount St Vincents.

It was sold to the teacher training college a few years ago and has been completely refurbished

Thanks Merrick.

Interesting to see that it was for orphaned girls as I have been unable to find their brother or their parents or aunt in the 1911 census as of yet.  Need to hunt for death records I think as I dont have them either yet.
