Scotmum web link is brilliant for anyone looking up Curragh camp births, I have just found my Great uncle on there as well.
Also does anyone know what R.E.V or R.E.F mean after a name on a baptism record please?
Thank you

Not just the Curragh, the entire country.

Can you post a link so we can see the letters in a record, they may be regiments.

Sinann, I tried to copy and paste the letters but it wouldn't paste the picture. I think the letters are R.E the third letter is & because it said John Tait R.E & Fanny Corvey? not sure on the spelling. On my great grandfather's wedding certificate it has his father's profession as a Land Surveyor, so I am wondering if this could mean Royal Engineers? :)
Thank you so much for taking an interest and all the advise  :)

I was a bit concerned about the transcript of her surname a Cooney, but it was difficult to see on the other record.
Fairly sure the letter are R.E. & Fanny etc.
I'd say Royal Engineers is correct.
