"Profession of Father" assistance required please

I have a marriage between my great grandfather and his second wife. By the look of it her father was a farmer? what was the other father.....jaoler?

I see it as Sadler

The 's' of Somerset is quite distinctive and looks different from the first letter of the occupation. The 'd' in Godfrey also seems different.

I think they're basically the same, but some are written a bit more carefully than others, so I'd go with Sadler. There are in fact three different types of "r" in that snip, so clearly the writer had some variation in his style.

There's no comparison with the 'J' in John.
