slave estates- william Green

I am trying to obtain information on William Green one time living in Dumfries at Nunholm but died in 1811 following an accident in Carriacou. I have reason to believe that money was used from his families estate to buy property in Rose Street Edinburgh used by mcVities biscuits

Have you seen this reference to a land sale in Carriacou that refers to William Green as a son of Janet Bell and William McVitie?

Hello - I am researching this family as they are close relatives.   I have some details about the family but know nothing about his death.  I am interested in swapping information.   William was not a child of William McVitie, although there was a close family relationship.
