Looking for the maiden name of Thomas Barnes' wife Ann, born about 1800. They had a son George, born 1826, died 1894.

Ann Barnes   40
Thomas Barnes   15

George Barnes   12
Christopher Barnes   10

Charles Barnes   2
John Holliday   42
Mary Holliday   40
James McCarthy   50
Michael Donoughto   20

If so then Charles' birth in 1839, St Neots, records his mother's maiden name as Luff.

Yes that is it. Thomas and Ann are my great great great grandparents coming down through George Barnes, born 1826. It all adds up but George would have been 14 then not 12. Many thanks for your help.
