The basics:

Born 28 Dec 1887 and birth registered in Paddington Mar qtr 1888.

Baptised 18 Mar 1888 at St John Paddington.  Parents: Alleyne Boxall, Esq., and Mary Elizabeth.

Educated at Eton College and later the Royal Military College (Sandhurst) - passed out in 1907.

Joined the Hampshire Regt in Oct 1907.  Served overseas in South Africa, Mauritius and India pre-WW1.

Died on active service 27 Apr 1915 (Dardanelles). At the time of his death he was a Captain in HM 2nd Battalion, Hampshire Regt.

He arrived Algoa Bay, Cape Town 3 September 1910 he travelled first class, ship called SAXON from Southampton.

His will was probated by his father Alleyne Alfred Boxall on 21 June 1915 in London.
