Travellers DNA
« on: Saturday 11 February 17 11:40 GMT (UK) »
Hi
I am researching my travelling ancestors, the Hutchinson's, Berry's. Knowles and others, all travelled around Cumberland, Westmorland, Durham, North Yorkshire and North Lancashire. I am in contact with descendants in Australia, USA and UK. We are now all comparing DNA as a means to get further back in our family history. Is there anybody out there who are related to these families.
Thanks
Keenan, McKenzie, Knowles, Berry, Gregg, Hutchinson, Allan, Strickland.

Hi Hiyamarra

I am descended from Irish travellers, mostly based in the south west of England, Bristol/Worcester but also links to North West. Different names but worth a try. Are you on GEDmatch? My GEDmatch number is A780692.
