1871 lookup please surname King

I am hoping someone can look at the original 1881 transcript for James King b1839 in Lane Row, Annitsford. He is with wife Catherine and children Patrick,John T,Margaret A, Catherine and James.
I am hoping his place of birth will be readable.It is transcribed on Familysearch as Kilkarney? But no place has that name especially as he is born in County Laois. Any help would be much appreciated.

1881 census pob reads Ireland Kilkarney for James & Gaulway for Katherine

1891 census says ?eens Co. Ireland for James & Tur(a)m? Co Galway for Catherine

1871 & 1901 pob Ireland for both

Have just amended his name should read James not John

James's pob transcribed as Kelmay, Ireland looking at the original difficult to see full name
as there's a big black pen mark but it might read Kilkenny

Catherine's pob transcribed as Selway reads Galway

Thanks, this is giving me problems as I thought Kilkenny, but Kilkenny isnt in County Laois (Queens)
and I am trying to locate his baptism. Similarly with his wife , difficult with unreadable census returns
