Marshall/Lazenby Marriage
« on: Saturday 11 February 17 22:05 GMT (UK) »
Hi,
I've identified a marriage for a William Marshall (who might be my ancestor) to Martha Lazenby, at Ottringham in 1868, but don't have access to an image of the record, so I would be very grateful if someone could look it up and share it's contents with me,
Thank you,
Chris

Not the image, but the text on Ancestry states her (age 35) father as Richard Lazenby and his (age 23) as Thomas Marshall

Date as 30th November 1868

The transcript is also on FamilySearch

I think to see the image you'd have to buy the certificate.

The family is showing on 1871 and 1881, and Martha's age agrees with that image posted, so 25 not 35.

Thanks for the info everyone!  I think this could be my ancestor.  William's father was named Thomas, and a labourer.  Is his occupation given in the record?
