you could be correct.  Much of the information I received verbally has proven to be incorrect.  Where did the Mullans you refer to live?  Have you any idea what school Jeannie might have attended?

Just remembered that I had some hard copies of old emails. I dug them out and found one from 2006 from a cousin which says that he was told that Johnny O'Mullan and his wife Peggy Boylan adopted the oldest daughter of the King of Formil (Margaret b.1901) I must be mixing this up with the youngest,Jeannie.

Jeannie was born 18th Nov 1914.  Jeannie/Jean was brought up by Mullans, friends of the family, when her mother died just after she was born.
I suppose the Mullans could be  the OMullans you mentioned but the dates don't match.
Do you know where the OMullans lived?  This might give a clue as to what school Jeannie attended or where she was confirmed.

If she grew up in Garvagh then she might have gone to Magheramore school (that's were my father's family went)or Boleran or Glenullin.
