It was Matilda Rice who died in 1910 from childbirth complications-

Here's Frederick Rice's birth-

Thanks for access to both certificates. A baby Frederick Rice died on 19 May 1910. Do you know if this was the same child born on 24th March?

This new information is helpful in bringing forward descendants. Matilda Rice nee Young was from a large family. One of her sisters Margaret Young 1886-1958 was my grandmother. I see from the death certificate a Margaret Young was a witness. This must have been Matildas mother Margaret Jane Young nee Adams 1862-1922-my great great grandmother.
Did the subsequent marriage of Samuel to Mary Kempton in 1915 bear any family.?
Do you have a date of death for Samuel during WW1?

Certificate (online) will give age, place of death and name of informant (also possibly father's occupation) which should help confirm or rule out the death.

Matilda Young ,married to Samuel Rice died 24 March 1910 at birth of Frederick,
Samuel Rice died in W W 1 and is remembered on Coagh war  memorial.

Hi Aghadowey
Found the whole comments very confusing,so didn't follow up at that time.
Will do if I can find any more confirmed evidence within the family.

Thanks to Curley and Aghadowey. I don't intend to get involved in the military history. The background has been helpful. Main interest is in the descendants of Youngs, Ewings and McMullans  alive today.
