Rose Dillon
« on: Thursday 16 February 17 22:01 GMT (UK) »
Hello everybody. This request is on behalf of a cousin of mine. I have made an attempt to do research to no avail and any help or assistance would be fantastic. This was the original request made to me:

Quote
(Ashley) I've been trying to find out who James Dillon's wife Rose was , they were grandad Dillon's,  grand parents and other than Charles (married Jane Kyle) ,did they have any other family , do you think you could come up with anything.

What I myself know is that the James Dillion quoted would have been a brother to my great great grandfather Charles Dillon and I believe a sister Mary. Charles Dillon had a farm at Friary in Ballymoney. Charles descendants are researched at this previous post : http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=763911.0

Unfortunately I know nothing of the James or Rose Dillon mentioned. From the generation they would have been born in the 1820s 1830s era.

Warmest regards to you all - Ashley

Hi,
New to the site just saw your post dont know if the below is of any help but here is what I know of Roseanne Dillon my GG Grandmother.

Her father's name was James Dillon she would of been born approx 1845 and married Thomas Muldoon in 1866 in Belfast.  Not sure if this is the Rose you are looking for information about?

Have you tried contacting PRONI (Public Records Office of Northern Ireland)?

They may have a street directory for Belfast in 1931.

Belfast and Province of Ulster/Northern Ireland Directory from
1852 to 1996 (with some gaps in the series), includes an
alphabetical and a street listing of the inhabitants of Belfast as well
as a listing by trade and profession.

There's a Rodney Parade in 1932 but not a Rodney Drive-

Rodney Drive does show up in the 1943 directory-
