I can't see a Holly Lane in Balsall Common either!

If you have a look on this:

Look for St Peter's Church, Balsall Common and Holly Lane runs down past it and then turns left.

I was wondering if 'Bricklin' should be 'Brick Kiln', not that I have found a Brickworks unfortunately.

The 1871 census says for District 3

part of the hamlet of Balsall north of Balsall Street - including Needles End, Wooton Green, George Road, Redfin, Meer End, Balsall Common, Holly Lane, and the Great House, Brickiln Lane, to the Grange Farm.

This map has Grange Farm and Needles End, so it must be somewhere there. A kiln is marked just south east of Needles End. http://www.british-history.ac.uk/os-1-to-10560/warwickshire/020/se

The only candidate I can see for a Brickiln Lane is this one which is probably the one Gardener refers to. It's before you get to Holly Lane but on the same side of the Kenilworth Rd.
