Do you have her marriage certificate? That would give her father's details.

No i dont have it.

I think she's on the 1911 census in Coventry under the name Angelina Williams age 24.
A boarder in her home is called Joseph Matthews, who she may have married in 1936.
Birth place Rome, Italian citizen.

She did marry a Joseph Matthews in 1936 her name at the time was Angelina Quagliere who she married in 1903. Not sure where the Williams is from.

I'm sure it's her though, the children's names all match up.
Also in Coventry in 1911, there's a Tuzio family, Domenico and Maria. Could well be her parents. Interesting to see how they struggled with the English when filling out the census return. Gives a real insight.

In fact, I think they're all in Coventry in the 1901 census. Transcribed as Dorinnick on Ancestry. I think more likely it's Dominick, and there's been a language barrier and his first name and surname are mixed up! An Angelina aged 14 is with them.

Getting a copy of the marriage certificate would really clear things up.

Thanks for that information. I can't seem to find the 1901 census though on ancestry. Also how would i go about getting a copy of the marriage certificate?
