Robinson formerly living in Lanchester, Durham area

Seeking help to find what happened to my grandmother's Robinson family. They moved to the Birmighham area from Lanchester, Durham around the 1940's. My grandmother's sibling was Edward Robinson, he was born 1901 and married Mollie Hailes or Mollie Swailes. They had a son that I am sure has passed away, he was Frederick B Robinson, born 1926 in Lanchester, Durham.

What did the B stand for?  His birth was registered March qtr 1926 & there is a death reg in 1998 for a Frederick Bird Robinson b 2.2.1926 - death was in Gloucester

Online deaths are only available to 2007

and married Mollie Hailes or Mollie Swailes

Did you not check freebmd for this marriage? She was Mary A so no use looking for a death for a Mollie Robinson

Edwards birth was registered in the March qtr of 1901 - do you have a copy of his birth cert with his exact birthdate as there are a number of Edward Robinson' deaths.  March 1901 registrations can also include birth in December 1900 which were not registered until after Christmas

Same problem with Mary A Robinson deaths - when was she born?

Hi Carole,
Edward was born 18 Jan 1901. Unfortunately, I am not certain as to his wife's date of birth, other than around 1905 and her name may be Mary Jane Smailes or Hailes.

This is the only death matching the birth details given but if he died before 1969 - no birthdate would be shown
