It's so frustrating as we also have a rough date of birth, unless of course she was under 21 and so lied about her age as her parents wouldn't give their permission.

Yes, I thought that too. I have done a search on and of every Beatrice born in 20/21 in Essex..there's a fair few. Not one Fenwick or Tenwick. If the church don't come up with something, I think only dna will give cousin matches..maybe.

1939 just shows a Charles and Doris C  and one other who is locked.
Looking at the free index - I don't have access to anything more in any case - Charles Chamberlain + Doris C Chamberlain.
Putting their names into the main search and street "Dawlish" reveals they were both born in 1905

I think maybe there is a transcription error
Charles Chamberlain married Doris L Edwards, June 1931, West Ham

Doris Lilian Chamberlain died Colchester in 1995, date of birth 25 Sep 1905
Birth reg, Dec 1905, Shoreditch
Edwards, Doris Lilian
mother's maiden surname Norton (new GRO index)

Birth reg, March 1915, Hackney
Edwards, Maurice Frederick
mother Norton

So possibly 17 Dawlish Road was the address of the groom's sister and brother in law

That's interesting, which could show that Beatrice wasn't living with her parents before her marriage, so  perhaps she didn't come from the area.

Well, she apparently didn't give any occupation for her father, Albert Fenwick, which is a bit unusual.
But I wonder, did Beatrice have an occupation on the marriage cert?

Answer - No! It's in the scan. Is that unusual by 1942, especially as it's wartime?

Thank you. Yes it would appear that they are grooms family. Its all vague. No name of father, no occupation. I think the church hold out the only hope with a date of birth. They married at the Parish church Leyton. I have emailed them, fingers crossed for a swift response.

That's a good point, the fact that it's wartime - was she working in the area?

I have looked on Genes Reunited and there is a Beatrice Fenwick on an electoral roll in Brentwood Essex in 2002. Looks like she is in a care home or a house of multiple occupation. I don't have a subscription. My ancestry doesn't seem to show late electoral rolls. Perhaps she returned to the area..no she was born 1913.
Got Allen's birth certificate nothing on there that we don't already know.

Possible date of birth 15/07/1913, , I believe she might have used the surname Fenwick on her death, but as always I stand to be corrected

1939 index might help you
