Hello and a very warm welcome to RootsChat  :).

Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be an entry for William in the Drouin Collection, unless the record is badly mistranscribed.

My suggestion would be to contact St Anne's Church in Rapides des Joachim to inquire about a record. If you poke around in the link below, you will find the address for the church in one part and the postal code in another. The telephone area code will be 613. Rapides des Joachim appears to be a very small town and it may be that the parish records are still all with the church.

There is also an Anthony Carroll (related?) buried in the same cemetery but he died in Ontario and his death record is on line. I don't see his burial in the Drouin Collection either. Nor do I see a death record for Wiiliam in Ontario.
