Stobie in Dunbar Cemetery
« on: Wednesday 22 February 17 20:42 GMT (UK) »
Hello All,

Andrew Napier Stobie died 14 December 1955. I believe he is buried in Dunbar Cemetery. His wife was Margaret Wilson Denholm who died at the wonderful age of 96 years in 1972.

Is there anyone who could do a lookup or point me in the right direction? Is the information online, can't seem to find anything?

Thanks,
Mags

Hi,
Andrew Napier Stobie died 1955, Dunbar aged 78.  Details from ScotlandsPeople.  To find more detail will cost £1.50 per record.  Hope this helps.

Also can confirm Margaret Wilson Stobie died 1972 aged 96 at Dunbar.  If you can afford it Scotland's People has a wealth of detail free lookup, but can get pricey after that:)

Hello Terry,

Already have the certificates. Looking to find where they are buried. I don't live locally so can't visit the cemetery.

Hi Mags,

When the weather improves I might have a trip to Dunbar, as it is a nice day out!

The cemetery records for East Lothian are held in Haddington, and for a considerable fee, the registrar can look them up for you.
