I have been through SP births for J McKennon 1892 - 1896 & nothing for Fife using 'Fuzzy matching' option.

How often have you seen the surname & how often have you seen it on original documents?

My question may seem absurd but there are so many variations which it could be, depending on how it was written as to how it was transcribed.

It could range from McKennon/McKinnon/McKerron/McKeowan (all sorts).

We have a needle in a haystack just now.

Is it possible for you to do a summary in order of events/places/dates/ages/surname(s) as they were at the time please?

This will put everything in 1 place & be easier to follow rather than having to keep scrolling as with the info. you have it's very confusing as nothing is in Timeline/Date order.

Can you also give your sources please to save double trouble of searching places you've already searched.

There's a mention of Frederick and Jessie obtaining their marriage license in the newspaper in 1915 - https://archives.post-gazette.com/search/#query=%22frederick+j.+montgomery%22+marriage

The age and place of birth of Jessie McKinnon would vary from what is in the original post but one to throw into the mix and worth a little investigation.  Food for thought.

This is what I have uncovered so far.
There was a Jessie McKinnon - aged 22 years - born about 1890 Portree Inverness. Domestic crossed the border from Canada to the USA - father Donald Portree Scotland. Arriving Niagara Falls 12 June 1912. Had been living 268 James Street Hamilton Ontario.
Going to brother John 1603 Broad Street, Pittsburg PA - employed and resident. Jessie arrived St Johns 1912 on the Cassandra.
