Hanley Place, Guildford St

The main body of what was Guildford St., Newtown, appears to have been absorbed into Hospital St. after the mid 20th Century clearance. Please can anyone tell me exactly where Hanley Place was?

There is a clear un-named opening on the 1953 OS map directly opposite the end of Porchester St. Can this be Haney Place?

There is Hanley Street in the Newtown area, perhaps Hanley Place was off there.

I should have realised that as it's on the Warks. board.
I'll have a look at some maps.

This is Hanley St. as relates to Hospital & Guildford St.
As Bearnan suggests Hanley Place was probably off.
"Places" are seldom identified on maps as they were back to backs.
I'll keep looking.

From what I can see on past electoral rolls, Hanley Place was sited between 51 and 53 Guildford St (my grandparents' address) and I am simply trying to place it in terms of today's geography.

Your map appears to be too close to Gt Hampton St. Guildford St was in the region of Farm St, Gee St. etc.
