I am trying to find details about Dora  m Round born about 1916 and married Ernest Robinson in 1939 in Lewisham London I would love to know her dob etc and her parents. I seem to be stuck on all all her details.
I would be grateful for a little help

The marriage certificate would give fathers details

There is no middle initial M on the marriage registration, do you know what it stands for.

What is the source for middle initial M?

Do you know (even approximately) when & where Dora died?

after rechecking my details I find I may have put the M in by pure accident. Sorry about misleading any one,I checked from daughter ( how i got mothers name) through to marriage details and found no M in the name and i have know idea when she died either

So are you saying she was "Dora Robinson formerly Round" on her daughter's birth certificate?

Was the daughter born outside London?  I didn't see obvious births for the couple in or near Lewisham in the years immediately following the marriage.

3 male ROBINSON births between 1939 – 1945 in Birmingham
mother’s maiden name ROUND, have not named due to years of birth

I have come to the same conclusion that Dora Round was born outside of London ie Dudley Birmingham or Nuneaton, so now i have to try to find the correct Dora round to go with Ernest Robinson

There is a Dora Round birth in June 1916 quarter in Nuneaton, mmn Hawkesford 

Doesn't match the date of death but there are often mistakes with that, so worth looking at.
