What about this?

Here's Mary Ann Carr from my earlier reply buried 2nd June 1886, according to the MI she was married to George William Carr, collector of HM Customs Goole.

Frank.

Hi, just possibly a bit of a long shot, in 1828 the Aire and Calder Navigation Company who had built and owned most of 'New Goole' took a census of the families who were living there, if you go on the attached link and scroll down to "Ouse Street" a James Carr was living there, the owner of the site says she has information on some of the names and families and is very happy to share it.

This could maybe be of help to you, also the lady is very helpfull (I have dealt with her before).

Frank  :)
