John Henry Fincken & Maud E Smith m.1917

Hi,
I am trying to trace John H Fincken who married Maud E Smith in 1917 Hartlepool. I cant find any record of this birth. I am assuming he was born somewhere around 1897,  but not necessarily in Hartlepool. I know some of the Finckens came from London in the late 1880's etc, so could be from St George in the East - London.

What I do know is that they had a son called John Henry who was born 1920 - he married Eveline Rutherford. Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

1939 Register search brings up a John H Fincken born 1876 living at West Hartlepool with Maude E Fincken born 1893.

That could be the one.......does it say where John was born

1939 Register doesn't give a place of birth usually a date of birth but it is a pay per view or on subscription on Find my Past and we can't do look ups on that due to copyright.

There is a John H Fincken on 1891/1901/1911 Census in West Hartlepool born in the right year. His marriage certificate would give his father's name which may help if it is the right John.
