Your man has 2 wound stripes & an overseas chevron, he's also a L/Cpl.
It looks like he has crossed sabres denoting a P.T. instructor.
Can't make out his Regt.

Many thanks for telling me a bit about this man's uniform.

It would be a big help if we have Reg't. That will narrow who he is. This photo is the only one we have on this male relative. Do you think the Military section here would assist us?

Would you say that the photos of a girl's face and a woman's face very similar especially eyebrows and shape of their faces?

That would be helpful to identify who she is (a girl).

I welcome anyone's input.

If you have the original photo of the soldier you will need to do a high res. scan of his shoulder title.
Correction: the chevron is for good conduct not overseas which were worn on the right sleeve.
