Can anyone tell me about Wolverley Hall between 1910 and 1939?
Or where I could find out?

This Wolverley Hall is actually at Wolverley not Wem, do you know if it is the one yoiu want to know about?

http://maps.nls.uk/view/101593723#zoom=4&lat=4593&lon=4504&layers=BT

In the censuses there is a Pitchford family(farmers) living at 'Wolverley Hall' off Ellesmere Road,
In the 1891 census the next named house is The Woodlands

Park Farm looks close by in 1901 census (when Wolverley Hall is not specified as Pitchford address.)
So map looks correct, so not actually at Wem?

Thanks all - looks like I'd better write to them to ask.

Wolverley Hall, Wem 1911
« Reply #6 on: Thursday 05 August 21 14:58 BST (UK) »
My great grandmother, Ethel Dulson, appears on the 1911 census at Wolverley Hall, Wem.
It appears she was working for the Pitchford family.
Can anyone tell me anything about Wolverley Hall or the Pitchfords?
I'm trying to work out how long my great grandmother had been working there as later in 1911 she had an illegitimate child. I've got a DNA match via Ancestry and I think the link must be the father of her child. However, I need further information to see how much further I can narrow it down.

Thanks in advance
Lisa

I think that you have already asked this question.

Yes I discovered that after I'd posted the question.
I was hoping that maybe a new person may know something.

Thanks
