Thanks for explaining that Stan, I didn't know.  Seems a bit strange - if I did a look-up at say, my local studies library, as I did the other day for another person, that I then have to ask for their personal email address to send a scanned Parish Register entry to them.  I know that you can't do attachments to PMs.

Anyway, back to the matter in hand......  I am sure that Jennie will be very pleased to read the replies when she logs in again.

That's interesting Rosie & very helpful as the 1841 normally only states 'y' or 'n' for whether born in County.
