EDIT No Susannah was the daughter of John/Maria Wilson, another sister Rachel Ann married a Thomas Arthur Grayson.

Which of the Lewis/Wilson boys William & Ambrose had a Thomas W K Lewis 1920 ( who married a Gwendoline) and a Joan M 1923, ( who married a Sidney) Thomas William K Lewis b 17th February 1920 died Oct 1997 Newcastle under Lyme aged 77

William had Ken who married Gwen. I am presuming he was Thomas WK Lewis, didn't know that, thanks ! Joan was my mother in law. She did not marry a Sydney though ? She married Eric.

Yes this is the correct family. Joan married Eric in June 1949 in Whitby.

I just remember the name Ambrose. Must have been from earlier research. It's been a while since I did any family history and it was the initials B.E.L. that re sparked my interest. Hence my interest in Williams mother. That and the fact that I've never been able to nail down his parents.
