Hi Sandy

Many thanks

Just curious: did Rev Paul conduct the service? Mary Ann was working as a housemaid for Esther Paul, who, by her age was born around 1780, would have been ?his aunt. Interesting too (as yet untraced) the same household has another housemaid 68 year old widow Mary Tansley (another name of mine to conjure with) who also came from Great Easton.

Mmm... I wonder what caused her death? I'll report back.

Also, Jarvis is another not uncommon name in my network (45 at the last count and mostly from the Welland Valley). Oddly, too, I haven't so far been able to spot where William and Emily went after their marriage.

Cheers Alan

I just leapt in at this point.  I looked at the wedding and noticed the general region they were married in - and that William is younger than Emily.

Would this William/Emily fit them?
