Ditto Scribble and AC.  I have had a whistle beside my phone for many years after receiving some of those nasty obscene phone calls in the 70's!  One deep breath and one long blow as hard as I could did the trick.

That advice was given to me by the police at the time,  and worked very well, but once all these stupid scammers starting popping up, and also cold calls from all manner of marketing people - I brought the good old faithful whistle out again!

Going just off the heading a bit -but worth warning.

There's a PayPal scam email about: saying the usual, 'your account has been limited' with given link to login and does not even try to simulate PayPal's email address or even the usual 'Dear customer ' that most fake emails do, as it goes straight in just starts as a paragraph.

Genuine Paypal emails would give your full name to start their Email.

Delete it.(Don't open it - Don't  click on a link-)

If your are a Paypal customer - contact Paypal direct if your uncertain, alarmed or panicky with your known contact phone number for Paypal or contact details off PayPal's authentic website. (Not a phone number off an Email)

Or login to your account your usual way!! with a search engine to the authentic PayPal's website.

 :) Be SAFE!

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth
