Edward Wilson Hunter, born 1809 in Barrow, Lincolnshire.
« on: Wednesday 01 March 17 21:32 GMT (UK) »
Hello There,

I am trying to find information about the above persons Marriage please.
I know from Census details, that his Wife's name was Harriet, and she was born in 1806. But I do not know what her Maiden name was. I cannot find any record of their Marriage anywhere.
It appears that their first child, was baptised on the 17th of March 1839 in Barrow, and they called her Harriet.
Edward Wilson Hunter was buried in Barrow, on the 7th of April 1872. He lived there all his life.

If anyone has any information regarding his Marriage, it would be much appreciated.  :)

Thank you very much. :)

I see on the 1841 census that Mary Eliza Clark aged 14 has been noted as daughter & then crossed out, which suggests that she may have been Harriet's daughter from a previous marriage.

Edward Wilson Hunter married Harriet Clark 10 Aug 1836 at St Swithun, Retford, Nottinghamshire.
MORGAN: Glamorgan, Durham, Ohio. DAVIS/DAVIES/DAVID: Glamorgan, Ohio.  GIBSON: Leicestershire, Durham, North Yorkshire.  RAIN/RAINE: Cumberland.  TAYLOR: North Yorks. BOURDAS: North Yorks. JEFFREYS: Worcestershire & Northumberland. FORBES: Berwickshire, CHEESMOND: Durham/Northumberland. WINTER: Durham/Northumberland. SNOWBALL: Durham.
