Most US military records are not online.  If you go to the bottom of this page - https://www.archives.gov/research/military/genealogy.html - it gives information about how to order older military personnel records. 

It looks like Fort Meade is in South Dakota rather than North Dakota.

Abraham L. Denning - born Pennsylvania - appears on U.S., Register of Civil, Military, and Naval Service, 1863-1959 for 1903 - Letter carriers - residence Boston Massachusetts.

also mention on the 1905 index -

not much info in those documents.  Fold 3 would have more military info - Army Register of Enlistments, 1798-1914
Or contact ancestry tree members with extensive trees
