Hi Rosie

yes I am almost certain that this is a link I will now check emigration records and I have been informed about a family tree that exists with further information but as yet I am unable to access this info.

I have a tree started on GenWeb site which includes the Gaynor family who lived in Liffey Street Kilmainham Dublin 8. Includes Thomas Keogh and Elizabeth Lizzie Gaynor who later lived in South Africa th Thomas Keogh being a relation to my wife. They had three children born in Dublin.

Daughter Elizabeth Mary Keogh - 26 May 1899 - 12 Park Street, Inchicore, Dublin, Ireland (this address agrees with the passenger list info) Passed away about 1971 - Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
Husband - William Alexander Wilson Black 1900–1972
born 19 February 1900 - Edinburgh, Midlothian, Scotland passed away June 1972 - Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa. (photographs attached to anc tree)

hello hoggie 59
Elizabeth & Thomas had 5 children,
William born 23 April 1898 died 20August 1898
Elizabeth born 26 May1899
Thomas & James born 19 December 1900 Thomas died 20 May 1901 James died 22 May 1901.
Margaret born 29 March 1902 have not found further info on her yet.
on the 1901 Irish census Elizabeth is living with her Grandparents at 1 Liffey Street probably because of the birth of the twins.
checkout the post from *sandra* which has filled in a big gap.

oddly enough my brother in law showed some of my research to a chap he has known for years in Dublin and that person confirmed that Elizabeth was his Aunt, it's a small world.

*sandra* many thanks for this amazing info, I've been out of action for some time but now I have a good excuse to re-activate my research.
