 Hi wondering if any one can help me i have a photo which was given to me of a family in county monaghan what im trying to find out is the owner of the car it has the reg number 1552 but im not sure if there should be more numbers and what number would be in front i was told maybe IP it looks like its from the 1900s the car looks like and old ford  i can try and send a photo if i can.

Registration was introduced in 1903

The 2-letter prefix IP was issued for Kilkenny.
Monaghan used BI codes from 1903 until 1961.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
