Linguaglossa, Italy. Do I post my questions about ancestors here???
« on: Friday 03 March 17 13:08 GMT (UK) »
Hello! I'm very new to this site (joined yesterday), and am having a wee bit of trouble navigating. I have questions regarding my ancestors who came from Linguaglossa, Italy. Do I post those questions in this forum, or is there a sub category? Just trying to keep things tidy and clear. Thanks for any info about how to use the forum. Will check out the new users info in full very soon.  8)

As you are new perhaps try the family History Beginners Board, if the moderators want to move it to a more appropriate section they will,

Welcome to Rootschat,

Kind Regards,

Ellen

Welcome to rootschat GreenAllie.

I think your question is perfectly fine where it is. I would say "ask away".  :)

If a moderator thinks the question is not in the correct place or the search veers off to another country, then as Ellen says, it can be moved.

Hi Green Allie

Welcome to rootschat.
I think this is the right place for questions about Italian ancestors.

What are the names of your ancestors?
Do you know their date or year of birth?
Where is Linguaglossa situated, which province of Italy?

Maybe you will find what you need on this website.
http://www.antenati.san.beniculturali.it/

Maybe you will find what you need at ancestry.it oder familysearch.

Kind Regards

Svenja
