GRO online maiden name search has no listing for a mothers maiden name which may suggest she was illegitimate

24 Dec 1897 at Boston (St Botolph)
Henry Edward GOSLING (son of Richard) to Rebecca FLESHBONN (dau of Thomas)

That will be what the marriage certificate will have (plus witnesses etc).

It was found in the "Boston spreadsheet" which I got from here http://mi.lincolnshiremarriages.org.uk/

P.S. Just because it's on the marriage cert, it doesn't mean it's right.  ;D

I think you will find her as Rebecca EATON in 1871 census, Elizabeth FLESHBURN married Thomas EATON in 1870.

Perhaps Thomas EATON was her father, perhaps he wasn't. :)

The fact that she married as FLESHBONN rather than EATON suggests to me that he wasn't her father.

If you check the 1901 entry - there is a Sarah Eaton shown as sister in law to Henry Gosling

There is this marriage

Elizabeth Fleshburn/Thomas Eaton June qtr 1870 Boston 7A 746

I think Elizabeth was Rebecca's mother and Sarah was her half sister
