Beatrice Field birthdate 17th June 1888

Hi guys

My husbands grandmother is proving to be elusive.  I know from her marriage certificate her name was

Beatrice Maud(e) Field, her fathers name was Alfred John Field and she was 24 and a spinster when she married in 1912. 
From the 1939 register her birthday is 17th June 1888 but I cannot find where she was born.

Could anyone help?

I am also following a lead that she was a bigamist but that's another story.  If you can find a birth anywhere for her I would be extremely grateful

Have you checked the birth for Beatrice Maude Godwin? That would seem to be the next step.

Hi Bumble, thats the thing, I dont know.

As Heywood has pointed out, I have been researching this for 10 years and am coming to the conclusion that she was a bigamist, hence the thread that they found. but I just thought I would ask if anyone else could find her.

Her marriage certificate states
June 1912 in Stroud, Gloucestershire that she was Beatrice Maud Field, 24 and a spinster, her father was Alfred John Field a salesman and they were resident in Rodborough at that time.
Sidney Davis whom she married was 35 and a bachelor and was born in Randwick and was discharged from the Army on 13 May 1912 at Cambridge Barracks, Portsmouth.

In the 1939 register she was in Croston, Lancashire and it states her birthday was 17th June 1888 but I cannot find a birth for her anywhere.

Hence the question, can anyone else find a birth record for Beatrice Maud(e) Field 17th June 1888.

Any help would be appreciated.

That's good news. If you, and now others, have searched for Beatrice with no results, then the birth certificate seems to be the only option to confirm any connection.

I have come across the situation before, where the person marries for a second time but is deemed to be a spinster on that marriage certificate.  It might be a case that whoever is conducting the second marriage just asks for her name - Beatrice Maud Field - and her father's name - John Alfred.  An assumption is made.
