It looks like Samuel was a Widower when he married Mary Ellis, there is a burial for a Mary Hall 14 March 1732/33. If it is the same Mary, Samuel got married to Ann Narfar pretty quick (4 June 1733)

The Admin Bond held by Norfolk Record Office may give the answer to one of them

Hall, Samuel, of South Lynn,1742-1743   ANW administration bond, 1742-1743, no. 130

the other marriage says Sam: Hall Widr & Ann Narfar Wid both of S Lyn June 4 1733
