Hi  :)

doing a bit of research on my ancestors , and in 1733 and around that time ,

the parish register , has their faith as Anglican , and marriages say taken place in this chapel.

does that mean the local church  ???

A chapel is usually attached to a mother (parish) church.

Often it is placed in an outlier district of a large parish - easier for the parishioners to get to.
Garrad (Suffolk, Essex, Somerset), Crocker (Somerset), Vanstone (Devon, Jersey), Sims (Wiltshire), Bridger (Kent)
