1901 look up please.

 Can anyone find this lady in 1901.  I have one I have lost who was born in Aberdeenshire, but don't if she`s the same one.
I have used the initials , full names are on records.

Jane Frances Knowles abt 1837  died 1903
Jul-Aug-Sep age :66 Registration district: Chorlton

Southern Cemetery Chorlton-Cum-Hardy, Metropolitan Borough of Manchester.

Clarence Hope Scott  born Midothian aged 20 is found in Bucklow ( Altincham)   Manchester in 1911.mother Margaret Ann Scott  / Knowles  was born in Aberdeenshire
He was registered as C H S Knowles.

Margaret Ann Scott was   M A Knowles,  and the daughter of JF Knowles

All of these are missing in 1901 in Scotland .

I`ve located 1901  Lancashire  Didsbury   District 6    as covering Clyde Road, so will check that out.

Jane is living there up to 1900 on the FindMyPast transcription, the property is owned by Mrs E Hurt

On the 1901 Census there is a Clarence H Scott age 30 born Scotland a visitor staying at Gelert House Llandrillo Yn Rhos, Caernarvonshire. The entry has been transcribed wrongly as it's stating he was born Anglesey, yet when you look on the original Census it states Scotland. My only reservation is his birth date. There is also a female the surname looks like Knolles she is also stated as born in Scotland. Probably not the right people but worth a look.

Such a shame there was no occupation for  M.. Knolles, she would have been 44 not 24 and a dressmaker, but there is no Clarence H Scott  or indeed anything , birth registered Scotland  between 1865 and 1875, I guess it could be an error but on whose part, he was born 1890.

 Wonderful ,  Ancestry has her as Margaret A Knowes , dressmaker.
I am sure this is Clarence`s mother because at 21 is Leonora Moodie whose father is a bank secretary. In 1911 Clarence is a bank clerk in Bucklow, Altrincham  and with Margaret Ann.
The puzzling thing is she is a "sister" but to who, she  looks to be in her own  household

So if Clarence can`t be found in England  or Scotland in 1901, could it really be him in Wales ?
