Winifred's age is 56 (1845) on the 1901 census (FindMyPast) - reference RG13  piece 5218  folio 138  page 1

If the only info on age that peony had was from the 1911, then it could be a wider range of birth years. I did a search and found both  Hughes and Roberts  surnames registered in Corwen Reg District for 1841-1845.

A possible death for Winifred :

Winifred G Tasker, aged 88,  1931, Wrexham,  2nd Q, 1931.

Suggests a D of B of 1843

The 1877 marriage cert is def. needed,
