I am trying to find a maiden name and or marriage for Maria dob c 1835 who married John Turner. John was born in Wentworth(Barrowfield) c1834. Thanks.

Welcome to Rootschat.  Where have you found that John and Maria are together - a census, or where?
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I had the same thought Cas as her son was born in the same year.
