Does anyone recognize the Celtic Cross in the photo?
One of the soldiers is named Charlie Jackson. The men might have been attached to the 186 Bttn. C.E.F. in WWI.

It's not in Ireland, but it looks like the one at Gibbet Hill in Surrey.
I think the CEF were based a few miles away at Witley Camp for a while.
