The will of Eleanor Clark proven 11 November 1791 PCC Wills
Eleanor Clark widow of John address Kingston Surrey.
She leaves money to a lot of relatives, however the part needed as to why all of John Tallemach children had the middle Clark and his will of 1801 that mentions his late Aunt Eleanor Clark.
To my niece Elizabeth Tallemach wife of John Tallemach of Kingston carpenter she leaves quite a bit of property.
Their children mentioned are Eleanor, Mary, Elizabeth C each get a monetary gift as well.
This is a long will mentioning about 20 people, including her brother Henry Parkhurst, yeah another maiden name.

Thanks once again for your responses and information.

Re: William Tallemach (b. 02 Feb 1786 in Surrey, England; d. 20 Jan 1818 in India - aged 32yrs. Captain of Artillery of the Bengal Establishment), son of Richard Tallemach and Mary Overbury.

How do I found out -
a)  If he was married and had children (England/India)?

b) When did he go to India?
I did look up FIBIS and found several entries - looks like he enrolled as a cadet in 1802 - 1803 - aged abt 16 - 17.

According to his will he had no heirs, left a little money to a native woman, everything else he had went to his mother. As I previously wrote.
His obituary is in the Morning Post London dated 13 August 1818 and can be found on findmypast.

Re - "......There is a will of Thomas Overbury proved 13 September 1756, mentions nephew Robert Overbury of Oxford, Inn keeper, sister Elizabeth Simpson, nephew Simon Badger, sons of Overbury Badger late of Banbury Oxford. Wife Arabella.
notes his wife Arabella Overbury's will was proven 3 March 1769 she was a very rich woman, left everything to children/grandchildren of Elizabeth Simpson.(she was her sister in law)...."

Does this mean that Thomas Overbury and wife Arabella didn't have any children, if Arabella "left everything to children/grandchildren of Elizabeth Simpson" ?

Who was Elizabeth Simpson (nee Overbury) married to?

Not all London registers are online, a good many are though.
I did not find any children of Thomas and Arabella Overbury so far, if they did it seems they did not live until adulthood.
Thomas was the Uncle of Robert Overbury.

The line you were following was Robert (married Mary) he was the son of Robert Overbury.
Robert was baptized 10 June 1716 son of Robert at Burford Oxon

There is a marriage of a Robert Overbury to Joanne Kempster 6 February 1713/14 at Burford Oxon.
