Hay/Ledgerwood confusion?!

We weren't sure on Jean whether she was related or just a very good friend of abbies they moved to America together and my mum went to stay with them in the 60s all the confusion has started with Robert! Apparently because of the porkies he told he was the youngest person in the Gordon highlanders to receive a pension at the age of 32!

Hi - I am new to this site and I too am a “Ledgerwood” (maiden name). I have traced my family to the Borders but I have a lot of grey area where I can not tell at what point they left Scotland, and in fact there are rumors they may have gone to Northern Ireland to live. Anyway - saw the name “Ledgerwood” and I had to say hi - we may be related somewhere down the line. 😁
