family tree maker 2011

I use family tree maker 2011, which works just fine for me up until yesterday. I compiled my tree and at the bottom there was the option to list all of the children of each marriage, this has disappeared now the family tree screen fills up the space, can anyone tell what has happened and better still how to fix it please.
