Death Certificate for Red Rock, Montana in 1898

I know that David John NELSON from South Wales was killed in Red Rock, Montana in August 1898.  Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get any form of death certificate or official record of his death.  If so, how do I get it?  Thank you.  Pat
