don't think so - I've looked at the image and it's definitely Frank Mason, b IOW

Frances M is born Q4 1847 with a Southampton registration number

So Frank is born 8 yeas after Mr Weeks dies

IOW FHS site has Frank Mason Weeks' birth registration showing mmn Mason, but I can't immediately find a matching marriage, or any other children of that combination

I note Eliza has a daughter old enough to be the mother - perhaps Eliza then brought him up as hers and Mason is actually his father's surname?

The only problem with my theory is Emma Weeks married the year before Frank's birth!

Another interesting point is Walter Weeks from 1841 - his mother's maiden name is listed as both Salter and Cheverton

I saw that Walter WEEKES on the IOWFHS BMD index but oddly there is no matching entry looking at the GRO images. There is a Walter CHEVERTON born in 1841 and the GRO index site gives his mmn as SALTER,

Walter CHEVERTON    Jun Q 1841    Isle of Wight    8  226
mmn:  SALTER

It looks like Walter died in 1852,

Walter WEEKS    Jun Q 1852   Isle of Wight    2b  285

1852
Walter WEEKS
Newport
Age:  10 years

Going back to William WEEKS husband of Eliza SALTER, I'm not sure that the 1843 death is the right one :-\ I think he could be the William WEEKS that married Mary Ann ROYALS in 1827,

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NXDZ-HXG

This family is living in Whippingham in 1841 and William's death is noted at IOWFHS as being in the Cowes district in 1843, Mary is then a widow in Newport in 1851.

But if this is right what happened to the William WEEKS that married Eliza SALTER?  He is not with her in 1841 but it doesn't show if she is a widow so he could have died anytime before 1851.

I notice that they have 3 of there sons christened together,

Charles
Edwin
Frank
29 December 1839
St John, Carisbrooke
Parents: William and Eliza

I wonder if William was leaving or dying or ??

Sorry more questions than answers  ::) :)
