FamilySearch Website Under Maintenance
« on: Tuesday 07 March 17 13:22 GMT (UK) »
This has nothing to do with Rootschat or London so apologies!

Anybody know what's happened to "Family Search"? Website's been under "maintenance" for over a week.

I am using it ok.

I was having similar trouble with FindMyPast earlier this week when most others were not and I seemed to solve it by clearing my browsing history, maybe that will work on FS.

Mike ,you're not using Firefox are you?

I have had quite a few problems since the beginning of March getting into some of my usual saved favourites. The advice has been 'clear cookies' which hasn't helped.

I've going in via Internet Explorer with no problems and hope when I get back via Firefox it'll have sorted itself out.

Hi Carol,  I'm using Firefox and have had no issues, make sure to keep it updated to the latest version. ;) ;)

Same here?

I do get a message saying "Record information not available. Please try again later!.
But if I just wait a few seconds, the record comes up.

I've moved it for you now to the technical board. :)
